Halfpipe Hero

Halfpipe Hero is a 2D skateboarding game, where players do their best to obtain the highest possible score by pulling all kinds of tricks on a halfpipe. In some ways, the game will probably remind you of the great OlliOlli. Although instead here players stick to focusing exclusively on jumps and flips.

Control systems in Halfpipe Hero are perfectly adapted to touch devices. A quick tap to your screen has your skater stopping mid-spin while in the air to prepare for landing. Then again, that's just a basic, straight-forward move. While playing you'll discover tons of other tricks that'll have you quick tapping the screen like a madman, or sliding at just the right moment.

In Halfpipe Hero you'll come across several different scenarios that can be unlocked as you complete all your goals. By unlocking new scenarios you'll also unlock new skaters. With the coins that you receive from match to match, you'll also be able to buy new characters.

Halfpipe Hero is an excellent skateboarding game. It's plain and simple gameplay are pure fun. You'll be able to land all kinds of tricks in the halfpipe—on just one hand. Besides that, you'll also be able to share your best moves ... or your gnarliest falls. And if that weren't enough, it's retro-style graphics are a ten out of ten.
